If Camilla Belle, who plays Evolet in 10,000 B.C. looks familiar,
it may be you've seen her before. She appeared in the memorable first five minutes of
The Lost World: Jurassic Park sequel as a little girl whose wealthy parents make a
picnic stop over on what they think is a deserted island. Camilla finds out the
hard way that the island is filled with a pack of voracious, pint-sized dinos
who think she'd be the perfect appetizer (and don't worry; her character survives).
During her career as a child actress, she played Steven Segall's daughter in The
Patriot (not to be confused with the Emmerich film of the same name), and appeared
in Practical Magic and A Little Princess.
Her acting career as a young adult includes the drama The Quiet, as well as the
horror remake of When A Stranger Calls.
