Actor Adam Baldwin played the memorable Janye Cobb, the hot-headed member of the crew on the all-too-brief TV SF series Firefly. He later reprised the role in the movie Serenity. In SG-1's seventh season's Heroes Parts 1 & 2, Baldwin played Colonel Dave Dixon, the commander of a stargate team that gets into some serious trouble. Baldwin portrayed another memorable hot-head, Animal Mother, in director Stanley Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket, and played a military officer in Independence Day. He can be seen these days as federal agent John Casey in the TV series Chuck.

Actress Morena Baccarin (right), played a prostitute (better known on the series as a companion) named Inara Serra on Firefly, as well as the spin-off film Serenity. On SG-1, she played the recurruing Ori villain Adria, starting with the tenth season's Counterstrike. She's also voiced the Black Canary on Justice League and appeare don such series as The O.C., Las Vegas and How I Met Your Mother. She will reprise Adria in the direct-to-DVD release Stargate: The Ark Of Truth.
