Prince Barin was played by a Welsh actor named Timothy Dalton. Dalton's first screen role was as King Philip of France in The Lion In Winter, opposite Peter O'Toole. He went on to play various historical roles in such films as Mary, Queen Of Scots, and Cromwell. He also appeared as a villain in The Rocketeer and was in Hot Fuzz. But Dalton may be best known by James Bond fans for playing 007 in two Bond films, The Living Daylights, and Licence to Kill.
